Frequently Asked Questions

God the Mother in the Bible

Q: Is God the Mother a teaching in Christianity?

A: The World Mission Society Church of God is the only church that believes in God the Mother, the female image of God. Why is that?

The Bible testifies that only those who keep the New Covenant can fully know God.

“‘The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah ... No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, “Know the Lord,” because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,’ declares the Lord.”

The ones who keep the law of the New Covenant don’t need to say, “know God” because they already fully know who God is. In other words, without keeping the New Covenant, we cannot know or understand second coming Christ or God the Mother.

Today, many churches keep Sunday worship, Christmas, communion, and Easter, which are not mentioned in the Bible at all. Studying the New Covenant provides clarity on God’s teachings and helps us understand God.

God the Mother in the Bible

Evidence of God the Mother spans the entirety of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

“Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness ...’ so God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

The fact that there are males and females on Earth who were all made in God’s image shows that there is not only the male image of God, but also the female image of God.

The book of Revelation explains who the Saviors are in the last days.

“The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let the one who hears say, ‘Come!’ Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.”

The Spirit and the bride—God the Father and God the Mother—appear in the last days to deliver the water of life, eternal life. To attain eternal life, we must receive both the Spirit and the bride.
