Seek David in the Last Days

In the Bible, God often uses characters like King David to depict the Savior’s works in the flesh. Hosea prophesied seeking David in the last days for God’s blessing.

“Afterward, the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God, and David their king. They will come trembling to the Lord and his blessing in the last days.”

Hosea 3:5

The New Testament reveals Jesus as the one to inherit David’s throne (Lk 1:31–32).

Three characteristics of David’s reign according to (2Sa 5:4) beginning at age 30, lasting 40 years, and receiving the eternal covenant (Isa 55:3)—are to be fulfilled by the Savior. Jesus walked with the disciples for only 3 years (Lk 13:6–7) of spiritual reign leaving 37 years unfilled and therefore requiring another appearance.

Christ Ahnsahnghong fulfilled these prophecies precisely, being born in 1918 and baptized in 1948 at the age of 30. As the New Covenant Passover was abolished in history at the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325, Christ Ahnsahnghong appeared to restore it. He carried out exactly 37 years of gospel ministry preaching the New Covenant and ascended in 1985. As the spiritual King David, Christ Ahnsahnghong brings the blessing of eternal life in the last days and all people should seek him.
