The Church of God in Ridgewood

Ridgewood, NJ, located in Bergen County just across the Hudson River from New York City, has become a favored residential spot for commuters. Positioned atop a lush hill, the Church of God in Ridgewood warmly welcomes visitors and has actively served the Bergen County community since 2008.

The Church of God in Ridgewood took a proactive approach, mobilizing over 1,200 members to undergo training as first responders with the Bergen County Police Office of Emergency Management. In recognition of their commitment to disaster relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy, the Church was honored with a Certificate of Commendation by former Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan. Additionally, Church volunteers received a proclamation from former Pompton Lakes Mayor Kathleen Cole for their selfless actions in the aftermath of Hurricane Irene. Since then, the Church has continued to contribute to the community through various volunteer initiatives and family events.
