Father’s Day 2015
The Church of God hosted a BBQ to honor fathers on Father’s Day. Church members prepared yummy home-style cooked food as well as touching videos about the love of fathers.
Branch Brook Park Cleanup
Volunteers participated in the “Care of the Park Movement” at Branch Brook Park. They worked together to remove invasive plants from the park.
Go the Distance for Autism 2015
Volunteer cheered on participants at the annual Go the Distance for Autism walk in Paramus.
March for Babies Fundraiser Walk
Volunteers participated in the “March for Babies” fundraiser walk. They helped with various tasks and cheered on walkers who were walking to raise funds to save the lives of premature babies.
War at the Shore Triathlon Cheering
War at the Shore Triathlon was an absolute success. Several triathletes expressed their thanks to the volunteers for their support and motivating cheers.
Manasquan Elementary School Playground Assembly Volunteer Service
Volunteers assembled three playground structures for the children of Manasquan Elementary School on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The NY/NJ Superbowl Host Committee sponsored the project.
Brightening Walls with Jersey Cares at YWCA in Orange
Church of God members spent MLK National Day of Service giving back to the community by joining Jersey Cares to help paint the local YWCA.
Hurricane Irene Disaster Relief
Volunteers spent days assisting residents of Pompton Lakes after the catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Irene.
